VVVintage in ID Magazine and more...

Its been a long time since there has been any news but so much has been going on. I have been finishing this long awaited second album, set up a new buisness called VVVintage, been travvelig in the studio, being apart of Fashion week as an buisness rather than a musician, my ears have been moving towards a more alternative route which is why the album is taking so long. I have started a section of the vvvintage site called VVVtv where we have interviewd artists like Lianne la Havas and the dream of having a art house filled with lots of different things is growing.

Here is the link for lianne La Havas where i got to know this amazing amazing artist!!

From VV…

vvvintage.com, an online vintage store and platform for designers focused on sustainability, was all about partying last Friday, in aid of the unique concept of bringing your second-hand clothing to be upcycled and reinvented by the vvvintage team. Designers Claire Barrow, Marc Rose and Rasha (launching on the site on the 20th of this month) are pioneers of the upcycling ethos, delivering amazing collections of reinventions to the store, with 10% of the profits going to Oxfam.

Eight hours of set design, six hours of putting up balloons, several bruises on the hands of our small team – Emma Rois, Dan Price, Lola Peach and myself – all in a small underground venue in Dalston called Passions, reminiscent of real Jamaica. This wasn’t your usual set up for a party. A room filled with the VVVintage logo splattered wall to wall, a balloon sculpture, 80′s TV’S stacked with postmodern visuals, sweaty bodies dancing to DJ’s such as the Work It girls, Radi Dadi, Fred Butler, Blackfoot Phoenix and Larry B, all contributed to an amazing, special night.

People danced hard and it was one of those moments where you felt like you were packed in your bedroom listening to your favourite jams. “Sustainability” in fashion was the celebration of the night, a concept VVVintage holds high, whilst people rocked out singing along to Jai Paul and Little Dragon.
